Sometimes I find it hard throwing things away. Yes, I am guilty of throwing trash down the sewer, due to the fact I was too lazy to find a trash can or a recycling bin. But folks, I have made amends by going green, throwing everything in the trash that is trash of course. I've also started recycling plastic water bottles, soda cans, and card board by putting them in the correct recycling containers. I've also been volunteering for different clean up events that have been taking place in the Washington, DC Metropolitan area. Because the fact of the matter is folks change starts with you. You can make a small difference by cutting your shower 3 minutes short, cutting off the light in the day time, or as simple as not to throw any trash on the ground and picking up any you may see. We can make the world a cleaner place and reserve it for years to come by going green!
