There are many time periods and events in history, or achievements that inspires fashion. One of the most amazing achievements in American history was sewing the first American flag. The first flag was sown by Betsy Ross. The first flag had 13 stars in which stood for 13 states, and 13 stripes, which stood for the 13 colonies that rebelled against the British monarchy. The American flag stands for America's freedom, and what we went threw in order to become an independent country. The American flag print has been used a lot in Runway collections; and it's considered to be very trendy, in the Summer and Spring seasons. Designers such as Ed Hardy, Indian Designer Ashish, Alice & Olivia, Marc Jacobs, Derek Lam, Rosa Cha, Ralph Lauren, DKNY, Sigerson Morrison, and many more use it. Celebrities have also been spotted in American print, such as Lady GAGA and Beyonce in the music video Telephone. American Print is here to stay!!
